Charlottesville Businesses, Get Ready to Roll for Bike Month!

RideShare invites your business to participate in the annual Bike Month Business Challenge this May! This friendly competition encourages employees to choose biking over driving, promoting health, sustainability, and active mobility.

Businesses pledge to join and RideShare provides all the resources needed to get teams cycling. Throughout May, participating employees log their bike commutes and errands (any trip replacing a car) on the free ConnectingVA app. Individuals earn points for discounts and giveaways on the app, while their logged bike trips automatically contribute to your organization's standing on our weekly leaderboard.  Get a head start and extra bonus by logging trips in April and you could win a $500 gift card. Official points for the challenge kick off May 1st, and we will be tracking the leading businesses on our website.

Businesses can also amplify their impact by exploring sponsorship opportunities, aligning their brand with sustainability, and connecting with Charlottesville's active biking community.
